Our accredited 4-year Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program, offered in partnership with ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) and NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research), provides hands-on training, classroom education, and real-world experience that prepares you for a rewarding career in the construction industry.
About the Program
Our apprenticeship program is designed to give you a solid foundation in the sheet metal trade. From day one, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals while completing structured coursework approved and accredited by ABC and NCCER. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive an NCCER-issued Associate’s Degree, recognized nationwide—giving you the credentials and confidence to excel anywhere your career takes you.
What You’ll Learn
Throughout the four-year program, the NCCER Sheet Metal Curriculum introduces students to every core aspect of the sheet metal and HVAC industry. You’ll receive expert instruction in:
Year 1: Foundations
- Industry fundamentals
- Construction basics
- Introduction to the sheet metal trade
Years 2–4: Advanced Trade Skills
As you progress, instructors guide you through a wide range of technical topics, including:
- Air Distribution
- Installation of Ductwork
- Sheet Metal Layout
- Reading & Interpreting Mechanical Drawings
- Duct Fabrication Standards
- Field Measurements & Calculations
- Principles of Airflow

You'll also take many additional advanced classes that build a well-rounded, comprehensive sheet metal worker. By graduation, you’ll have the skills, knowledge, and field experience needed to succeed in commercial and industrial HVAC construction, fabrication, and installation.
