We also installed a Type 2 Grease hood with Makeup Air, Exhaust Fan, and all welded grease duct that passed all City of Pittsburgh Inspection requirements.

Allegheny Branch House Lofts

Description:  HMI installed 42 fan coil units with heat pumps for all apartments with all associated ductwork, grilles, and diffusers. The design had one roof-mounted makeup air unit with energy recovery. This project also had 1 ducted horizontal fan coil unit, 3 ductless wall-mounted fan coil units, and 2 ceiling-mounted cassette units. Each of these units were wired into their own individual thermostats.

Description: Our team installed (2) Energy Recovery units and (1) Make Up Air Unit with all associated ductwork, fire dampers, and fire smoke dampers. Installation of a Daikin VRV system that included (3) Outdoor Heat Recovery Units and (54) Indoor units, all on a central controller tied into thermostats in each individual apartment.

Description: When we started this project in January of 2021, we were excited to get things moving in the new year. By July, we had finished our rooftop installments with Trane RTUs and Aaon DHUs, along with ductwork wrapped with DuctSox for the interior of the space. Electric duct heaters, exhaust fans, and intake hoods were involved for optimal conditions within the indoor pool area. To keep all of the little fish comfortable, HMI performed air balancing and controls that ensured proper air flow and temperature.

Description: Hampton Mechanical mobilized on this project in August of 2019. We successfully coordinated our service through 2020 on this large, assisted living facility. This project included 194 living spaces for tenents that contains a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and additional amenities for larger units. We installed an army of rooftop air handling units, split system heat pumps, and ductwork throughout the entire facility. We also accommodated the dining area with a full-service kitchen hood and vent systems. We are happy to provide a comfortable living facility for our elder community.

Description: This design-build project was our first experience with Turner Construction, and has been a great success thus far. After we provided the design, Turner took over to break ground on this large fulfillment and distribution center for Personalized Skin Solutions, also affiliated with the popular skincare brand Curology. Being close to the airport, there were many different hurdles to get over involving the lift for our equipment. After coordinating with airport and local authorities, we were able to start our work on schedule. The design included a Unistrut grid ceiling, office space, compound labs, and distribution space for this quick-growing company.
